I really enjoyed reading this book. Lissa is a healer in the poor area where she grew up. When both she and her little sister are initiated to serve the Draekon, they think everything is about to fall apart. If you are a fan of dystopian books like The Hunger Games, this book might be for you. If you are a fan of dragons, I would also recommend this book. The interaction of the healer with the royal family definitely starts the rumor mill churning at full force...and there are surprises around every corner in this book. I look forward to reading book 2 when it is released.
