Review: Chelela

Chelela Chelela by Andrea B. Lamoureux
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading this book. It's full of adventure with quite a mystical presence throughout. This is the first book I've read by this author, even though it is labeled as book 2.

In this story, Celela is a water elemental. I'll admit the story itself is strongly more adventurous than strictly a romance (the romances that ARE included lack strong development, but since that's not the focal point of the story, I don't think it matters much), so don't pick it up expecting to find a romantic sort of a turnout or guaranteed HEA due to the fancy gown on the cover model.

I enjoyed reading it since I'm usually more of a Paranormal/Fantasy/Adventure seeker, myself. Chelela proves herself a true survivor in every page of this book, and I look forward to exploring more works by this author in the future. I'd recommend this book to fans of fantasy and adventures with strong female protagonists.
