Review: Outcast

I enjoyed reading this book. Kass starts out strapped to a wheelchair with no idea of where she is or how she got there. She's pretty sure she's not really crazy, and she knows she needs to save her family. I think this book is well suited for readers that enjoy delving into books that explore the idea of people with developmental disabilities (the technical and usually less offensive term for individuals suffering from mental illness), and the hardships they could potentially be dealing with. It's got an air of mystery as the book progresses too, as what is really happening slowly arises to the surface.
