Great true to life novel
I enjoyed reading this novel. It's definitely a change from my usual literary go-to choices of YA fantasy/sci-fi or mystery books. It's strongly rooted in the spirit and soul behind a localized bookstore, and those that devote their time and energy to see things keep running smoothly. Though I don't write many short stories myself, I have enjoyed reading many, and I really appreciated the way this book brought to the forefront the importance of being able to master the writing a short story. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves literature and feels it's important to remember how literature can truly change and shape lives.
