I enjoyed reading this book. It definitely has many sci-fi and fantasy elements, and is a book written about a teenager, but with a few new adult features (includes a little strong language and a few intimate encounters). Tori discovers many new things about herself in this novel, including the fact that she is 'not of this world' and also that she has pre-ordained bonds with her jaw-droppingly handsome protectors.
I did read about halfway through this ebook, then switched over to reading several others not long afterwards. I was glad to see I could easily return to this book weeks later and pick right up where I left off on this story without requiring a refresher of any type on the characters or story line. I would recommend this book to readers that are fans of sci-fi novels, or even YA novels with sci-fi elements. It is well written and I'll be on the lookout for book 2 in this series.
