Enjoyable shifter story

I enjoyed reading this book. It's ideal for mature readers (around age 17+) due to a few incidents of a slightly graphic nature that deal with intimacy. I wasn't aware this book is based off a separate series, but I was able to enjoy it as a standalone without feeling lost. I'd recommend this book for fans of shifters and paranormal romance.
