I really enjoyed reading this story. Elara manages to escape some of the most dreadful relationships in her life. She's heard all the stories, but when it's discovered that Kelpies are actually able to help humans find their better half, instead of killing the victims that discover their presence like the old wives tales proclaim, it turns out romance may not be that far away. The characters were all wonderful in this story, and I loved the layering of worlds presented here. I can't wait to read the next edition of this story, and I'd recommend it to lovers of fantasy, water creatures, and those that believe romance can be discovered in unforeseen realms.
