I was luck enough to gain access to an advance reader’s copy of this book, and I really enjoyed it. It’s basically a book that lays out a boys entire life, from his starting point being mothered and performing light thievery from an early age so he and his mother can survive, all the while remaining on the run from bullies that harass him around town, to happening across new circumstances that bring a bit of confusion and plenty of unexpected experiences his way. This book is an ideal read for those that enjoy reading about new lands and coming of age style novels.
